Lego imitates life once again. This time photographer Mike Stimpson replicates iconic photos using Lego in every detail contained in the original photo. All the photos are stylistically true to the original shots.

Burning House Project is a blog that asks a hypothetical question: What would you save from the fire if your house was burning down? People submit pictures of the things that they would (hypothetically) save from the burning flames. It's a mixture between the sentimental, the practical and the emotional stuff. Some of the submissions are absolutely unique and some are predictable.

This wedding invitation design by Cristina Moralejo takes the term "Tying the Knot" to a whole new level. When both ends of the wedding invitation are fully spread and open, the action forms a knot. Take a look at the pics below to get the idea behind the invitation. Brilliant!
Translation: LOOP THAT IS FASTENED AND LOCKED SO IT IS DIFFICULT TO RELEASE, AND THE MORE ITS ENDS ARE PULLED APART THE MORE IT TIES TOGETHER.

George Chamoun creates a visual mashup of two different Hollywood eras. The name Iconatomy is coined from the words "icon" (starts, celebrities, etc) and "anatomy". It took Chamoun a lot of time and energy trying to find two perfect photographs to digitally pair together. The results are in no way morphed, but collaged together to create an iconic symbol of looks, fortune and fame.

Probably written by one of the animators who was outraged at the title name change for a Disney classic movie from It is believed to be written by one of the animators, Ed Gombert, but is “from” the then head of the department.
